On Saturday we had about forty family and friends join us for the UofM/BGSU tailgate and game. Deb Solis brought this Awesome Apple Cake. After the first bite I knew I had to share it with you. So simple to make, and great for any occasion. Love it!
Mama So's Awesome Apple Cake
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
4 cups of sliced apples.
oven @ 350
Grease 9 x 13 pan. Mix sugar, oil and eggs into bowl until creamy. Add to mixture the flour, cinnamon, soda. Mix together. Add apples and mix until all apples are covered. Bake one hour at 350. Test if done. May take 10-15 minutes longer.
Cool and sprinkle with powder sugar on top. Enjoy!
